SHIN SHIN MUGENDO
Fifty Moves
The Fifty Moves are an advanced
Shin Shin Mugendo
practice, developed by Ben Otake. These moves are not
especially techniques. Instead the moves are designed
to situate the practitioner in an advantageous position
to defend against various attacks.
At each position, any technique may be applied.
You may do an impact move, a joint lock,
a throw, or even a strangle.
Utilized throughout the Fifty Moves are the
basic arm movements and the foot patterns.
By training repetitively in the Fifty Moves
the practitioner will respond instinctively
to most common attacks.
The Fifty Moves include movements both
standing and on the ground.
